I was born in a small country town to alcoholic parents. We were poor and didn’t have much. After all the fighting, hell raising, cheating on my father’s part, he walked out when I was seven years old.
Mom started selling alcohol and so did I. At the age of of 11, I had my first drink. Fast forward to high school — I dropped out due to drinking and drugging. My life went downhill and I tried many rehabs until I found a spiritual rehab where I was diagnosed with chronic depression and anxiety.
After nine years of recovery and taking medicine daily, I received my certification as a Patient Care Technician. I also worked for and received my certification in as an Anger Management Specialist and will be trained as a Peer Support Specialist.
